The Market & French Halls
From: £15.00
Ray Tubby (Roy’s son) says: “This is a scene that my dad would have known well and probably had a lot of meaning for him. The local branch of Alcohol Anonymous rented a room in the market and every Monday evening dad would go off to the weekly meeting. All part of his struggle to maintain his sobriety, which was hard won, one day at a time and, for the last thirty years of his life, was successful. This picture won first prize in the visual arts competition 1984.”
